Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under Dubai Chambers, has organised 35 meetings with Business Groups and Business Councils to enhance collaboration with the private sector and strengthen the competitiveness of companies operating in the emirate.
The meetings aimed to align joint efforts in light of current global developments, understand the needs of different sectors, and explore practical ways to support businesses and improve their ability to compete in international markets.
Focus on Economic Growth and Readiness
The engagement sessions are part of an ongoing initiative by the chamber to regularly connect with Business Groups and Councils. Discussions focused on the current business environment, future outlook, and strategies to help economic sectors adapt effectively to global changes.
These efforts are designed to support the sustainable growth of businesses, improve operational efficiency, and further reinforce Dubai’s position as a leading global hub for trade and investment.
Strong Confidence in Dubai’s Economy
Representatives from various Business Groups and Business Councils expressed strong confidence in the resilience of Dubai’s economy and its ability to navigate global challenges successfully.
Participants also praised the government’s continued efforts to create new growth opportunities and strengthen the competitiveness of the business community despite changing global conditions.
They highlighted the strong partnership between Dubai’s public and private sectors, which plays a crucial role in developing the emirate’s economic ecosystem, improving the business environment, and increasing private sector efficiency.
Dubai Chambers Highlights Public-Private Partnership
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, emphasised that strong cooperation between the public and private sectors is essential for sustainable economic growth and global competitiveness.
He said Dubai Chambers remains committed to strengthening collaboration with the private sector, supporting companies to operate more efficiently, and ensuring the business community’s interests are protected.
Lootah added that the chamber continues to communicate the challenges faced by businesses to government authorities and works to find solutions that enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of the business environment. These efforts support the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
Wide Representation of International Business Councils
The meetings included sessions with several Business Councils representing investors and companies from different countries, including the American, Netherlands, British, Turkish, Hellenic, South African, Pakistani, Indian, Chinese, and Philippines Business Councils.
Multiple Sector Business Groups Participated
The chamber also met with Business Groups representing a wide range of sectors in Dubai. These included real estate brokerage and property management, real estate development, facilities management, building materials, steel manufacturing, construction technology, retail, restaurants, clinics, travel and tourism agencies, food and beverage manufacturing, education, logistics, advertising, jewellery, and many other industries.
Supporting Business Community and Economic Development
Supporting the interests of the business community remains a key priority for Dubai Chamber of Commerce. The chamber continues to strengthen the role of Business Groups in shaping regulatory frameworks and improving the business environment across multiple sectors.
Business Groups and Business Councils also play an important role in facilitating dialogue between the private sector and government entities. Their contributions help improve the business environment, support innovation, and drive sustainable economic growth in Dubai.
