According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), both leaders expressed satisfaction with the ongoing high-level political dialogue and reviewed progress in various sectors. They emphasized the importance of expanding commercial ties, particularly in clean energy, manufacturing, space technology, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, and critical minerals to ensure resilient supply chains. They also welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Industrial Property Rights (IPR), which aims to enhance cooperation in patents, designs, and trademarks.

In addition to economic collaboration, Modi and Meloni discussed bilateral defense and security cooperation, aiming to deepen ties in defense industrial collaboration. They expressed optimism about future collaboration in these areas to mutual benefit.

The meeting highlighted the friendly and productive relations between India and Italy, focusing on advancing shared goals of economic growth, technological advancement, and strategic cooperation in global forums like the G7.
