Oman Air is set to commence direct flights linking Muscat and Singapore from 2 July 2026. This new service will run four times a week—on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays—providing faster and more convenient travel options. The route enhances Oman Air’s presence in Southeast Asia and allows for smooth connections through the oneworld alliance, facilitating access to destinations such as Australia, Japan, and Hong Kong.
According to Con Korfiatis, CEO of Oman Air, this route broadens travel alternatives for both business and leisure travelers. He emphasized that the new service underlines Muscat's position as an important hub connecting Europe with Asia-Pacific, while delivering outstanding travel experiences.
Lim Ching Kiat, Executive Vice President of Changi Airport Group, expressed his support for the route, noting that it will connect Muscat to Singapore’s expansive network in the Asia-Pacific region. He highlighted the importance of this development in creating travel opportunities and strengthening bilateral ties.
The Muscat-Singapore flights will utilize Boeing 737 Max aircraft, featuring Oman Air’s award-winning Business and Economy Class, ensuring a feasible journey for all passengers.
This initiative reflects Oman Air’s commitment to broadening its international footprint, enhancing regional connectivity, and providing convenient travel options to accommodate rising passenger demand.
The new route is anticipated to draw both tourists and business travelers, simplifying travel between the Middle East and Southeast Asia with its direct service.
