Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, opened the Bitcoin MENA Conference at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). This is the first time the event is being held in the Middle East. It shows how important this region is becoming in the world of digital money like Bitcoin.

The event was planned by the ADNEC Group with BTC Inc. and the Abu Dhabi Blockchain Center. Over 5,200 experts and leaders from 55 countries are attending. There are 120 speakers who will share their ideas about Bitcoin and digital money. There is also a big exhibition covering a huge space with new ideas and products from 500 companies.
Sheikh Nahyan said that the UAE is working to be a place for new ideas and technology. He said this event shows how Abu Dhabi wants to help people learn and grow. He also said that digital money is not just for buying things but is built on systems that are fair and clear.
Sheikh Nahyan explained that digital money is changing how we think about the economy. He said that events like this are important because they help people share ideas and work together to grow businesses and technology.
Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, who leads Cyber Security for the UAE, talked about how the country is improving in using blockchain and virtual money. He said the UAE is becoming a leader in using smart ideas to make sure the future is safe and strong. He said teamwork, smart ideas, and trust are key to building a strong digital world.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, the CEO of ADNEC Group, said this event fits Abu Dhabi’s plans to grow in new industries. He said it shows Abu Dhabi can host big events that help people work together and create new ideas.
Abdullah Al Dhaheri, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Blockchain Center, said Bitcoin has grown a lot since it started in 2008. He said Bitcoin is more than just money. Some famous speakers at the event include Eric Trump, who will talk about Bitcoin and its role in the world economy, and Prince Philip of Serbia, who will explain how blockchain can help the world. Dr. Saifedean Ammous, a Bitcoin expert, will talk about how Bitcoin is changing banks and money systems. Other speakers will explain how blockchain can help schools, government services, and more.
The exhibition at the event shows new ideas in Bitcoin and blockchain. There is also a special art gallery where people can buy artwork using Bitcoin. The gallery is a partnership between New York’s AOTM Gallery and Dubai’s Mondoir Gallery. There are also spaces where people can meet and talk to make new partnerships.
