The Future Heroes Summer Camp, now in its third year, runs until August 1, 2024. This year’s camp offers an engaging and educational program tailored for different age groups. Children aged 6 to 9 enjoy activities designed to nurture curiosity and creativity, while those aged 10 to 13 participate in advanced sessions that challenge and inspire them. The camp features hands-on workshops, guided tours, and immersive experiences aimed at fostering creativity and innovation, and helping children develop a deep understanding of their world.
Mohammed Al Mulla, a celebrated UAE astronaut and member of NASA’s Astronaut Candidate Class of 2021, holds a bachelor’s degree in law and economics and an Executive Masters of Public Administration from the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government. Before his astronaut career, he was Head of the Training Department at Dubai Police’s Air Wing Centre. His dedication and perseverance make him a prominent role model for aspiring astronauts.
Nora AlMatrooshi, the first Emirati female astronaut, holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the United Arab Emirates University and has trained at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Before her astronaut selection, she worked as an engineer at the National Petroleum Construction Company. Her achievements set a significant precedent for future generations of women in space exploration.
The Future Heroes Summer Camp offers a well-rounded schedule that balances educational content with playful exploration. It provides children with opportunities to develop new skills, forge friendships, and explore their potential in a supportive and stimulating environment.
