Dubai, United Arab Emirates :
In a major step toward enhancing Dubai’s global exhibition landscape and supporting inclusion, Germany’s Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and UAE-based Nadd Al Shiba PR & Event Management have signed a strategic partnership agreement. The collaboration marks the acquisition of a stake by Messe Düsseldorf in the AccessAbilities Expo, the region’s largest event dedicated to People of Determination.
The announcement took place during the 7th edition of the AccessAbilities Expo, held from October 6–8, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event was organized under the esteemed patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group.
The partnership agreement was formalized by Ghassan Suleiman Amhaz, CEO of Nadd Al Shiba PR & Event Management, and Wolfram N. Diener, President and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf, the globally recognized organizer of REHACARE International—the world’s leading trade fair for rehabilitation and assistive technologies.
This marks the first-ever presence of Messe Düsseldorf in the Middle East and signifies a strategic move to foster innovation and accessibility for over 50 million People of Determination across the region. The collaboration is set to transform Dubai’s exhibition sector by integrating global expertise, enhancing event quality, and introducing specialized programs focused on rehabilitation, healthcare, and inclusion.
Ghassan Suleiman Amhaz expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating: “This collaboration unites our capabilities and strengthens Dubai’s position as a global leader in assistive technologies. Together, we aim to launch new initiatives that enhance accessibility, empower People of Determination, and create opportunities aligned with Dubai’s long-term vision.”
He further highlighted that the alliance complements Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33, which targets AED 32 trillion in total economic growth over the next decade and envisions Dubai as the world’s most attractive city for living, working, and tourism by 2033. The initiative also aligns with the emirate’s goal to attract global investments in technology and innovation, leading to the creation of thousands of new jobs and fostering a vibrant ecosystem of international expertise.
Wolfram N. Diener, President and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf, added: “Our partnership in Dubai marks a powerful connection between two leading global exhibitions—AccessAbilities Expo and REHACARE International. This collaboration will open new opportunities for exhibitors, innovators, and buyers worldwide. By merging our strengths, we are bridging markets, sharing knowledge, and advancing inclusive innovation.”
Under this partnership, the two organizations will collaborate on shared content development, enhance international participation, and foster technology exchange between global and regional players in the field of assistive and rehabilitation technologies.
The alliance not only reinforces Dubai’s reputation as a global hub for innovation and inclusion but also strengthens its role as a gateway for international trade, investment, and talent—aligning seamlessly with the UAE’s broader vision for an inclusive, technology-driven future.
