Khorfakkan Celebrates 54th Eid Al Etihad with Festive Splendor

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates –  Khorfakkan has come alive with a vibrant display of unity, culture, and national pride as the city celebrates the 54th Eid Al Etihad. The festivities have drawn large crowds of residents, visitors, and community members, all joining together to honor this momentous occasion.

The city is adorned in colorful national decorations, reflecting the deep-rooted heritage, identity, and values of its people. A highlight of the celebrations is the spectacular maritime parade, organized by the Sharjah Fisheries Authority, the Khorfakkan Fishermen’s Association, and the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, featuring decorated boats and engaging water sports activities.

The Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is hosting a series of special musical evenings. On 29 November, renowned artists Hussain Al Jasmi and Fouad Abdelwahid will perform, offering residents and visitors an authentic blend of Emirati music and culture. Another free-admission musical event on 1 December will feature performances by Faiz Al Saeed, Khalifa Al Washahi, and Mohammed Al Mazem, further enhancing the festive spirit.

In addition, the operetta “Pulse of the Nation” captures the journey of the UAE Union and celebrates the values of unity and belonging. Folkloric dance performances and heritage shows will further highlight the richness of Emirati culture.

The celebrations also include interactive programs such as youth council panel discussions, cultural platforms for children and young adults, and storytelling sessions with senior citizens. Poetry evenings, cultural competitions, and public participation activities ensure an inclusive and engaging experience for all attendees.

Visitors can enjoy diverse offerings from traditional and military performance groups, productive families, and food truck vendors. A dedicated photography studio allows guests to capture memorable moments against the vibrant backdrop of Khorfakkan’s national decorations.
