Filipino-German model Kirk Bondad captured the Mister International 2025 title on Thursday, September 25, at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan, Thailand. Bondad emerged victorious among 40 contestants, with Saadedine Hneineh of Lebanon as first runner-up and Seung-ho Choi of South Korea as second runner-up.
Bondad also made it to the Top 5 for Best National Costume, wearing a golden ensemble named Perlas Celestia, inspired by the Philippines’ moniker as the Pearl of the Orient Seas. The costume, complete with crown and scepter, was designed by Filipino designer Patrick Isorena, who was recognized as Pageant Costume Designer of the Year in the 2024 Philippine Pageantry Excellence Awards.

During the Q&A segment, Bondad impressed judges with his answer on the importance of critical thinking in combating fake news. Asked by Mister International president Pradit Pradinunt to respond within 60 seconds, Bondad said, “Critical thinking gives us the ability to see what truly matters… if we work together, as humanity, we can progress in this world with peace and progress.”
Bondad is no stranger to pageantry. He previously represented the Philippines at Mister World 2024 in Vietnam, finishing in the Top 20, and won Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2025, representing Baguio. The last Filipino to win Mister International was policeman Neil Perez in 2014.
Mister International is an annual male beauty pageant founded in 2006 by late Singaporean Alan Sim. Following Sim’s passing in 2022, Pradit Pradinunt currently leads the organization from its headquarters in Thailand.
Update: Kirk Bondad will represent the Philippines in international engagements and events under the Mister International title for the coming year.
