Dubai: flydubai’s Chairman, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, recently visited the airline’s new Flight Training Centre, which is set to officially open in the coming weeks.

During his visit, Sheikh Ahmed was given a tour of the state-of-the-art facility, located at the Flydubai Campus. The tour included a close look at the Full-Flight Simulator (FFS) and other training areas. He explored briefing and debriefing rooms, classrooms equipped with advanced learning technology, and high-tech computer-based training rooms. He also visited the Boeing 737 Full-Flight Simulators (FFS), which will play a key role in pilot training.

Speaking about the new facility, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said, “I am pleased to see the Flydubai Flight Training Centre become a reality today. This centre is an important part of Flydubai’s growth and reflects the airline’s strong commitment to innovation and operational efficiency. This facility will give flydubai pilots greater flexibility in their training schedules and ensure easy access to the simulator bays. In the future, the airline may also extend its training services to pilots from other airlines.

With this new centre, flydubai invests in advanced technology and high-quality training, reinforcing its commitment to safety and excellence in the aviation industry.
