Hamdan bin Mohammed Meets Seychelles President to Strengthen Ties

Dubai’s Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met with the President of Seychelles, His Excellency Wavel Ramkalawan, today. Their meeting took place during the World Governments Summit 2025, a major international event held in Dubai.

The discussion mainly focused on improving the relationship between the UAE and Seychelles, with a special emphasis on strengthening economic ties. Both leaders explored new opportunities to work together and build strong partnerships in different fields.

Sheikh Hamdan expressed the UAE’s dedication to deepening its bond with Seychelles. He said that their relationship is based on mutual respect, shared goals, and a vision for sustainable growth. He also emphasized that the UAE is always looking to form global partnerships that promote long-term social and economic progress.

During the meeting, both sides agreed on the importance of expanding cooperation in key areas such as trade, business, banking, travel, and tourism.
