At the same time, Microsoft is building three large datacenters in Saudi Arabia. These datacenters will be ready by 2026 and will help improve technology services in the country. Experts say Saudi Arabia’s cloud market will grow fast, reaching $3.9 billion by 2027. With these projects, Microsoft is creating new job chances for skilled workers and helping the country’s digital economy grow.
NITA’s executive director, Nora Al-Shaikh, said this partnership will help Saudi Arabia become a major center for datacenters. She said the academy will train local workers and help the country move forward in digital technology. The academy will teach students about IT support, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. They will also get hands-on training, so they are ready for real jobs.
Zainab Alamin, Vice President of Digital Transformation at Microsoft Arabia, said the company is serious about supporting Saudi Arabia’s technology growth. She said the academy will help students learn special skills, create new job chances, and make Saudi Arabia a strong digital country. Students who finish the program will get a certificate or diploma, which will help them find jobs in the technology field.
