This week, four humanitarian aid planes from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) landed at El Arish International Airport as part of the country’s continued efforts to support Palestinian families in Gaza. These aid shipments are a key part of the UAE’s humanitarian air bridge under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which aims to provide urgent relief to those affected by the ongoing crisis.
The relief effort was made possible through the contributions of several Emirati charitable organizations. These include Al Ihsan Charity Association, Sharjah Charity International, Dar Al Ber Society, Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, International Charity Organisation, Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Work, Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, and Fujairah Charity Association.

The four aid planes carried a total of 1,442 tonnes of much-needed relief supplies. These included food packages, Ramadan essentials, hygiene kits, shelter tents, and newborn baby kits, along with other critical items designed to ease the suffering of families facing hardship in Gaza.
Upon arrival, the UAE’s humanitarian team, stationed in Al-Arish, received the planes and immediately began organizing the transfer of aid. They worked closely with local and international authorities to ensure a smooth and fast delivery of the supplies through the Rafah Border Crossing, so they could reach those in urgent need as quickly as possible.
This humanitarian mission is part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, an initiative launched by the UAE to provide essential aid to the people of Gaza. As part of this effort, the UAE has also sent medical supplies, set up a fully equipped field hospital in Gaza, deployed a floating hospital in Al-Arish, and arranged for injured individuals to be transported to the UAE for medical treatment.
Through this operation, the UAE continues to reaffirm its strong commitment to supporting Palestinian families and providing much-needed humanitarian assistance to those affected by the crisis.
