Some journeys begin not with ambition, but with courage. For Fatemah Awais, the decision to leave everything behind was not driven by money or opportunity. It was driven by the need for peace.
Fatemah and her husband were well settled in Pakistan. Their lives were stable, their home carefully built, their future seemingly secure. But when family politics began to disturb their peace, they made a choice many hesitate to make. Someone has to choose peace over politics. They chose peace, even if it meant starting again from zero. With a one year old son and a two and a half year old daughter, Fatemah Awais and her husband took a leap of faith and moved to Dubai.
Leaving was not easy. The city they had lived in for years. The house they had decorated together. The furniture they had chosen piece by piece. Every corner of that home carried memories. Walking away from it felt like leaving a part of themselves behind. Yet Fatemah knew that sometimes survival is not about holding on, but about letting go.
When they arrived in Dubai, there was no clear plan. They were on a three month visit visa, uncertain about what lay ahead. There were voices that discouraged them, questioning their decision and predicting failure. But there were also a few kind souls who offered encouragement and support. And above all, there was faith. Fatemah believed that Allah always creates a way, even when the path is not visible.
Finding a job was not the hardest part. Finding the right nanny was. As a mother who had never left her children even with family, trusting a stranger felt terrifying. But struggles do not ask for comfort. They ask for courage. And once again, Fatemah adapted.
For Fatemah Awais, no job was ever small. She began her professional journey in Dubai as a telecaller in a real estate company and gave it her full dedication. Growth followed naturally. She moved into administrative roles, then portfolio management, and eventually rose to the position of general manager. Each role came with challenges and difficult bosses, but she remained focused. Her world was simple. Work with complete concentration. Home with complete presence. There was no space in between.
Over time, she found herself in the right organisation, surrounded by people who believed in growth rather than politics. A healthy work environment changed everything. Supportive leadership, understanding colleagues, and a culture free from internal conflicts allowed her to thrive. Fatemah credits her company’s management and HR for creating a space where success was encouraged rather than obstructed.
Her daily commute became a lesson in resilience. Walking to the bus stop, taking the metro, then walking another thirty minutes to reach the office. The same routine every evening. Under the intense Dubai heat and humidity, it often took nearly two hours to reach home. Those days shaped her deeply. Today, when she drives her own car and reaches home in fifteen minutes, she looks back with gratitude. Whenever she sees people standing in long queues, Fatemah silently prays that Allah grants them ease, because she knows the struggle is real.
Balancing motherhood, work, and personal growth was the hardest part of her journey. That balance transformed her. Once impatient, she became calm, grounded, and protective of her peace. She learned to live quietly, away from negativity, choosing a life guided by the principle of live and let live.
Although her husband was always capable of providing for the family, Fatemah worked for herself. Not for money, but for purpose. Together, they decided that whatever they earned would serve one goal. To see the world with their children. To let them explore cultures, ask questions, and grow through experience. They have now travelled to more than ten countries, and every journey has been worth the savings. Watching the world through her children’s curious eyes feels like reliving her own childhood.
In 2024, amidst the routine of work and family life, a new idea began to take shape. Fatemah wanted to build something of her own. Something that would not grow overnight, but would grow slowly and last long. That idea became FAZZ.
FAZZ is not just a brand. It is an emotion. The name carries the initials of her family. Fatemah, Awais, Zareyah, Zaveyaar. It stands as a witness to their collective struggle and strength. To Fatemah Awais, FAZZ is a declaration. A reminder that when a family stands together with love and understanding, nothing is impossible.

Starting a side business while managing a full time job and raising children was not easy. Meetings with influencers, attending events, managing time, and staying consistent demanded discipline. Once again, her husband stood by her like a rock. Without his support, Fatemah believes FAZZ would not exist.
Entrepreneurship changed her in ways she never imagined. For the first time, every decision was hers. Every idea. Every risk. Every gain and loss. She became accountable only to herself. That freedom gave birth to creativity, confidence, and independence.
Her husband remains her greatest strength. From the day they met, he believed in her ability to handle multiple roles. His confidence became her sword, a weapon she uses to face every storm that comes her way.
Fatemah Awais does not claim that the struggle is over. Life still tests her in many ways. But the moment her children confidently started school, adapted to new environments, and carried themselves with global exposure, she knew every sacrifice was worth it. Today, she feels she is reliving her childhood through them.
She is certain about the values she has passed on to her children. Hard work. Self confidence. Self sufficiency. Honesty. Living in reality, not fantasy.
To women who fear failure, her message is simple. Fear is normal. But once you face it, there is no going back. Every woman should build something of her own. Allah has blessed everyone with hidden talents. All we need is the courage to discover them.
She has witnessed tables turn upside down through faith and belief. And her dream is clear. She wants the world to know FAZZ. She wants her daughter to grow up and say that family was the most important thing her mother ever believed in.
This story is just a glimpse of the last five or six years. Life has tested Fatemah Awais in many other ways too. But she has learned one truth. Life will keep testing you until you almost fail. That moment, when you refuse to give up, is where success truly begins.
