ENEC Consulting has over 15 years of experience from working on the UAE’s Peaceful Nuclear Energy Program and the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant. Barakah started full operations in September 2024. The new company will guide others in every step of building nuclear plants, such as planning, managing projects, getting ready for operations, and training people.
ENEC Consulting shows ENEC’s promise to share its knowledge about nuclear energy. This will help other countries use nuclear energy in a safe and responsible way. Clean electricity is needed more than ever because industries like data centers and AI use a lot of power. ENEC Consulting will help other nations achieve clean energy and energy security with good nuclear energy projects.
His Excellency Mohamed Al Hammadi, the CEO of ENEC, said nuclear energy is key to solving the world’s energy problems. He spoke about the UAE’s success in using nuclear energy to make its power cleaner, with 75% of its clean electricity coming from the Barakah Plant. He said ENEC Consulting is ready to help other countries reach their clean energy goals and support sustainability efforts.
Mohamed Al Braiki, who manages ENEC Consulting, said the company will guide countries that want to grow their nuclear energy plans. He mentioned that Barakah proves nuclear energy projects can be finished on time, at a good cost, and by following global safety rules. ENEC Consulting will use its experience to help speed up the use of clean energy worldwide.
The company will give advice on managing projects, setting rules, finding money, and training workers. It will also help clients make sure their nuclear energy projects are safe and run well, using the UAE’s high standards for safety and quality.
This new project builds on the UAE’s good ties with other nuclear energy countries. It also supports the "Tripling Nuclear Declaration" started at COP28 in 2023. This plan wants to triple the world’s nuclear energy by 2050 to reach Net Zero goals. The plan is supported by 31 countries and 14 banks. ENEC Consulting fits with the UAE’s larger goal to fight climate change and show the world how to grow nuclear energy safely and smartly.
