Dubai once again took centre stage for innovation in media as the 10th edition of the Emirati Media Forum was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. The event also witnessed the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.
The forum featured a thought-provoking session on “The Impact of Film and E-Gaming on the Future of Media,” bringing together key industry leaders including His Excellency Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, and His Excellency Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM). The session was moderated by Abdullatif Alsayegh, CEO of Alsayegh Media.
The discussion explored how cinema and e-gaming have become powerful pillars of the creative economy, offering new investment prospects and creating opportunities for collaboration across media, tourism, and technology sectors. The panellists underlined Dubai’s growing influence as a regional and global media hub — a city that continues to attract talent, creativity, and innovation from around the world.
Artificial intelligence and digital transformation were also in focus, with insights on how advanced technologies are reshaping storytelling, production, and audience engagement. The speakers highlighted Dubai’s commitment to building a media ecosystem that blends creativity with governance, innovation with cultural identity, ensuring the city remains at the forefront of the evolving creative economy.
The 10th Emirati Media Forum reaffirmed Dubai’s vision to lead the future of media — one that connects cultures, empowers talent, and inspires the next generation of creators.
