The first day of Eid Al Adha in the UAE was marked by special celebrations as several families welcomed newborn babies, bringing added joy to the festive occasion. At the stroke of midnight, two babies were born – one in Abu Dhabi and another in Dubai – setting a jubilant tone for the day.
Indian couple Shalaka Alias Sharmila and Sagar Gulab Mirpagar expressed their happiness at the birth of their son. They thanked Aster Hospital Al Mankhool in Dubai for the exceptional care and support, emphasizing their gratitude to the UAE leaders for providing a happy and safe environment for their family.
Meanwhile, in Abu Dhabi, Jordanian couple Ali Al Ibrahim and Hebah Al Zoubi welcomed their son, Humam, weighing 4.1kg, at Burjeel Hospital. They described this Eid as truly special and expressed their gratitude towards the hospital staff for their care.

At Prime Hospital in Dubai, Neha Raju and Nivin celebrated the birth of their son, Liam Nivin, at 4.39am, weighing 2.7kg. They considered their Eid baby a symbol of good fortune and immense joy.
Akthar Saleem and Seerin Sitara also celebrated Eid with the arrival of their baby girl at Aster Hospital in Al Qusais at 1.27am. They expressed their gratitude to Allah for this precious gift on such a blessed day.
In Ras Al Khaimah, Indian couple Mumtaz Evp Abdulrihman Koroth and Mumtaz Erayath Vadake Purayil welcomed their third child, a baby boy weighing 3kg, at 12.48am. They described the birth as a moment of immense happiness and gratitude, particularly meaningful during Eid Al Adha, a time symbolizing sacrifice and unity.
Dr. Raza Siddiqui, executive director of RAK Hospital, emphasized the significance of these births during Eid, highlighting how they enhance the spirit of sacrifice, faith, and unity among families in the UAE.
