At GITEX Global 2025, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) celebrated nearly two decades of pioneering digital innovation in the property sector. With 19 years of continuous evolution, DLD reaffirmed its role as a global leader in smart real estate governance, introducing next-generation digital solutions powered by AI, blockchain, and PropTech integration.
Since its inception, DLD has transformed Dubai’s real estate landscape through technology-led governance. Its initiatives align with Dubai’s Real Estate Strategy 2033 and the Economic Agenda D33, focusing on transparency, sustainability, and investor confidence.
DLD’s participation at GITEX 2025 highlighted major milestones, including:
Mollak, a first-of-its-kind joint ownership management system.
Instant Transactions Platform, delivering real-time property data.
Dubai REST App, a central digital hub for property owners and investors.
Smart Valuation System, offering AI-based property assessments.
AI Real Estate Advertising Governance, ensuring credible listings.
Each system reflects Dubai’s ambition to create a fully integrated, paperless, and data-driven property ecosystem accessible from anywhere in the world.
At GITEX 2025, DLD announced new global partnerships with technology firms specializing in AI analytics, smart contracts, and digital identity verification. These collaborations aim to reduce fraud, speed up property transfers, and support the growth of real estate tokenization and blockchain-led ownership systems.
The department also signed multiple MOUs with government and private entities to enhance interdepartmental data exchange, further integrating Dubai’s property market into the city’s broader smart infrastructure.
Through 19 years of innovation, DLD has built one of the world’s most transparent real estate markets. Every property transaction in Dubai — whether off-plan, resale, or mortgage-based — is now digitally recorded and verifiable in real-time.
The Smart Valuation service allows buyers and sellers to access accurate, AI-driven property values instantly, improving trust and efficiency in decision-making. These advancements have been critical in attracting international investors and reinforcing Dubai’s image as a secure property investment hub.
DLD’s transformation extends beyond digital efficiency to environmental responsibility. Its PropTech collaborations now incorporate IoT-driven energy monitoring, green building compliance tracking, and AI-based sustainability scoring.
By integrating ESG metrics into property valuation and ownership systems, DLD ensures that Dubai’s real estate growth remains sustainable, aligning with the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 vision.
The Dubai Land Department’s GITEX 2025 showcase is more than a technological milestone — it’s a reflection of how digital transformation and visionary governance can redefine an entire industry.
From blockchain-based ownership to AI valuation, DLD continues to lead Dubai’s evolution into a global capital of smart, transparent, and sustainable real estate.
