Dubai, UAE: Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 is setting new benchmarks for the global food production sector, recording a remarkable 32% growth over last year. The Middle East, led by the UAE, is fast emerging as a magnet for investment, talent, and cutting-edge technology, redefining the global food manufacturing landscape. Geopolitical shifts, evolving supply chains, and robust industrial policies are prompting international manufacturers to relocate closer to Dubai and the GCC, attracted by world-class logistics, open trade ecosystems, and supportive regulatory frameworks.
Ranked the number one destination globally for foreign investment projects, Dubai provides a strategic gateway for companies targeting markets across MENA, South Asia, and Africa. Accelerating this transformation is the region’s rapid adoption of artificial intelligence in manufacturing, projected to grow at a CAGR of 43.65% through 2033, positioning the UAE as a key driver of AI-powered industrialisation.
Gulfood Manufacturing 2025, returning to the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 4–6, marks its largest and most globally diverse edition to date. The event will host 2,500 exhibitors from 79 countries across 21 halls, covering the entire production value chain — Ingredients, Processing, Packaging, Supply Chain Solutions, and Control & Automation. With 90% participation from leading brands such as Chocolake, IMCD, Multivac Middle East FZE, and SIG, alongside emerging innovators, the show highlights Dubai’s rise as a global epicentre for food technology, innovation, and industrial transformation.
Governments across the GCC have pledged over $3.8 billion in food technology and agri-innovation, reinforcing local processing and food security. Meanwhile, the global food processing machinery market is set to expand by $21.69 billion by 2029, driven by AI-powered automation and strong investment flows from APAC.
Mark Napier, Vice President Exhibitions, Dubai World Trade Centre, said: “Dubai stands at a unique inflection point for industrial transformation. With initiatives like Operation 300bn and the UAE leading AI adoption in manufacturing, the nation is powering a new wave of intelligent production. Gulfood Manufacturing embodies this evolution, reflecting the region’s pivotal role in shaping the future of industrial food manufacturing.”
Spotlight on Industry-Defining Innovation
Gulfood Manufacturing continues to be the premier stage for unveiling transformative innovations. In the ingredients sector, leaders like ADM International, Brenntag, dsm-firmenich, Ingredion, Kerry MENAT DMCC, Robertet Middle East, Symrise, and Tate & Lyle are showcasing advances in biotech-derived actives, precision fermentation, AI-powered flavor mapping, and next-generation stabilizers, driving the global shift toward healthier, sustainable consumption.
Processing and packaging innovators, including Heat & Control, Husky, Ishida, KHS, Krones AG, Middleby Middle East FZE, Rieckermann GmbH, Sidel, and TNA Solutions, are redefining smart manufacturing through IoT-enabled sensors, AI vision systems reducing waste by 25%, modular machinery, and eco-engineered packaging solutions. Sean Sims, Global VP, Automation & Solutions at Tetra Pak, commented: “Gulfood Manufacturing is our platform to connect with forward-thinking partners and showcase AI-driven automation and digital solutions that help producers optimize operations and achieve sustainable growth.”
The FoodTech Summit: Shaping the Future of Industrial Food
The FoodTech Summit, at the heart of the event, will feature 50% more speakers than in previous editions, including Mars, Titan Capital, Unilever, Hive Capital, and other visionary technologists, policymakers, and innovators. Key discussions will explore cold chain technologies, food-tech investment strategies, and the future of alternative proteins. Digital futurist Mark Minevich will present on intelligent, self-adapting production systems, living supply chains, zero-waste efficiency, and AI-driven food sovereignty. These sessions reinforce the Summit’s role as a global think tank, shaping the next era of industrial food production.
