Dubai International Chamber Facilitates Kilimanjaro Energy’s Expansion into China
Dubai: Dubai International Chamber, one of the entities under Dubai Chambers, has successfully facilitated Kilimanjaro Energy's entry into the Chinese market. This collaboration led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Kilimanjaro Energy, a Dubai-based renewable energy firm, and Skyworth Photovoltaic Technology from Shenzhen. The MoU, inked at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters with representatives from Dubai International Chamber and Shenzhen’s Guangming District government, focuses on joint ventures in photovoltaic energy and energy storage for global commercial and industrial projects. The agreement aims to explore and implement cooperative models for new energy initiatives.

Kilimanjaro Energy plans to establish a branch in China, offering specialized consultancy to local companies interested in expanding into Dubai and the wider Middle East region. Dubai International Chamber's Shenzhen office played a crucial role in facilitating this partnership.
Kilimanjaro Energy specializes in identifying and evaluating top-tier renewable energy projects across Africa and the Middle East, supporting climate neutrality efforts. Their services encompass business advisory, project structuring, energy commodity deals, project development, and fundraising. Skyworth Photovoltaic Technology brings expertise in new energy, digitalization, and supply chain sectors.
Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of Global Markets at Dubai Chambers, emphasized the significance of supporting Dubai-based companies in global markets. He highlighted the role of strategic partnerships in enhancing Dubai's business community competitiveness.
Ali Makki, Cofounder and Group CEO of Kilimanjaro Energy, expressed gratitude to Dubai International Chamber for their support, foreseeing enhanced capabilities and positioning UAE as a global energy leader through this alliance.
Wanfei Qu, Skyworth Group CMO and Skyworth Solar CEO, praised Dubai and Kilimanjaro Energy's dedication to green energy transformation, affirming Chinese technology's role in supporting the MENA region's sustainable development.
Dubai International Chamber operates a global network of 31 representative offices, promoting foreign direct investment and aiding Dubai-based companies in global expansion under the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
