Dubai-Based Real Estate Strategist Champions Indo-UAE Startup Ties at BuildXPunjab 2025.CHANDIGARH, INDIA — JULY 5, 2025:
In a landmark moment for regional innovation and global collaboration, Jasmeet S Anand, a Dubai-based real estate strategist and former banker, took center stage at the BuildXPunjab 2025 Forum in Chandigarh. His keynote on cross-border investments, Indo-UAE startup synergy, and the power of regional ecosystems like Punjab drew applause and admiration from over 1,000 attendees and industry leaders.
Held at the Hyatt Regency, the BuildXPunjab Forum brought together 15+ influential speakers from across India and the Gulf, converging on a single theme: how regions like Punjab can rise as global hubs for innovation, entrepreneurship, and scalable startups.
Anand, who traveled from Dubai exclusively for the event, delivered one of the most anticipated sessions of the day—merging the precision of finance, the scale of real estate, and the momentum of international investment into a bold call-to-action for India's northern states. Jasmeet S Anand’s journey is one that spans sectors, geographies, and industries. From his roots in India’s top banking institutions to becoming a major player in Dubai’s real estate investment market, Anand’s transformation has captured attention from business networks, investors, and international media. Recently profiled in the DXB News Network’s ‘Voices of UAE’ feature series, Anand’s story resonates not only for its business success, but for the sheer resilience and clarity of vision behind it.
He started his career in banking, rising through the ranks at HDFC, IDBI, and IndusInd Bank, managing large corporate and SME portfolios. But in 2016, Anand made a bold decision to leave the safety of an established career in India and relocate to Dubai—a city he describes as “demanding but transformative.”
“I arrived in Dubai without a network, without a job offer, and without guarantees. But what I had was a belief in building something greater than comfort,” he shared in his address at BuildXPunjab.
After entering Dubai’s highly competitive real estate industry, Anand eventually became Managing Partner and COO at Ace Capital, where he led the company through a critical restructuring and rebranding phase. Under his guidance, the firm stabilized its operations, improved investor trust, and returned to profitability. Today, he operates as a strategic advisor and independent investor, helping clients—from diaspora investors to startup founders—navigate high-value real estate and early-stage ventures across the UAE and India.
Anand’s address at BuildXPunjab 2025 focused on the strategic importance of regional ecosystems like Punjab in driving the next phase of India’s startup growth. Positioned between global markets and local talent pools, Anand argued that regions like Punjab are not only capable of scaling startups, but are uniquely positioned to build globally competitive ventures with the right infrastructure and cross-border support.
“Startups are not just about business—they’re about solving real problems. And Punjab has both the mindset and the manpower to lead,” he said.
He called on local governments, investors, and diaspora professionals to shift focus from traditional urban centers to regional ecosystems that are “hungry, humble, and ready to grow.”
A key theme of Anand’s talk was the growing partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates, particularly in the areas of venture capital, technology infrastructure, and regulatory harmonization.
“The India-UAE corridor is no longer a promise. It’s a working model of how two nations can share talent, capital, and innovation,” Anand noted. “From real estate and logistics to fintech and agri-tech, the collaboration potential is massive.”
He detailed how Dubai’s mature investment framework, coupled with India’s startup energy, can co-create scalable ventures—particularly when strategic capital meets regional innovation.
Anand’s insights reflect his own work with founders, diaspora investors, and venture capitalists who are looking to expand across borders. On platforms like LinkedIn, he regularly shares investment opportunities, real estate analysis, and thought leadership on the role of global Indian professionals in emerging markets.
The BuildXPunjab 2025 Forum featured high-impact sessions from a range of leaders including Peter Virdee, Vikramjit Sahney, Dr. Harjinder Cheema, Gurpreet Bajwa, and Sukhjit Singh Pasricha. However, Anand’s presence offered a rare blend of finance, real estate, and global strategic thinking—a perspective that’s increasingly vital as India looks to engage deeper with the Gulf and beyond.
According to event organizer Amarpreet Singh (Founder, BuildXPunjab), Jasmeet’s session was among the most discussed and most attended.
“When someone of Jasmeet’s caliber travels from Dubai just to support Punjab’s startup story, it sends a strong message—that we’re not just regional anymore. We are ready for the world,” Singh said.
Anand’s business philosophy centers on trust, transparency, and long-term value. Whether advising clients on real estate opportunities in Downtown Dubai or mentoring young founders from India, he emphasizes ethical investing and relationship-first strategy.
On social media platforms like Instagram, Anand shares behind-the-scenes insights from his meetings, real estate walkthroughs, and cross-border events. His growing digital presence serves as both a guide for investors and a platform for raising awareness about Dubai’s rising influence in global property and innovation circles.
“It’s not about one deal—it’s about building something that lasts across borders, across generations,” he often states.
Jasmeet S Anand’s presence at BuildXPunjab 2025 was more than ceremonial—it was symbolic. He represents a new kind of Indian leader: globally experienced, locally committed, and strategically aligned with the future of cross-border entrepreneurship.
As Punjab invests in infrastructure, education, and startup incubation, voices like Anand’s play a critical role in bridging the gap between regional ambition and global opportunity.
“I came to share ideas. But what I received was far greater—a renewed belief in what Punjab can become when we think globally but act locally,” he concluded.
