The Arabian Horse Beauty Championship commenced at the Military Sports Union arena within the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club in Al Raffah, Bahrain. This event, the inaugural one of the Arabian Horse Beauty Committee under the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) for the 2025–2026 season, underscores the nation’s historical commitment to breeding purebred Arabian horses.
Day one featured both qualifying and final rounds across three significant categories: yearling fillies (A and B), junior fillies (A and B), and mares (A and B). A team of five judges, five disciplinary members, and two arena directors, all certified by a European Arabian horse body, ensured stringent standards for all participating stables.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the President of BREEF, praised the Federation’s unwavering support for Arabian horse beauty competitions, calling them essential to Bahrain’s cultural identity. He emphasized that this championship mirrors Bahrain’s fervor for purebred Arabian horses and solidifies the Kingdom's position as a prominent breeding hub for these majestic creatures.
HH Shaikh Isa lauded the Arabian Horse Beauty Committee’s preparations for the season, noting that their efforts play a crucial role in evolving equestrian sports within Bahrain and inspire stables and owners to enhance local breeding initiatives. He further acknowledged the media’s contribution to boosting public interest in such equestrian events.
The initiative was backed by numerous partners and sponsors that fortify community connections while advancing the sports sector. HH Shaikh Isa expressed gratitude to diamond partners Bapco Energies and Al Salam Bank, as well as platinum sponsor BINAA, and gold and silver sponsors including stc, Alba, the Economic Development Board, GPIC, and Bahrain Marina, along with bronze sponsors such as Bahrain Development Bank, Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo, SICO, and BBK.
In the yearling fillies category, Ghaliya Al Haram from Al Haram Stud bagged the gold, followed by silver winner Anwar Al Harm from Al Haram Stud, while Fareeda Al Raheel from Al Raheel Stud secured the bronze.
For junior fillies, gold went to Aalia Al Haddar from Al Hayat Stud, with silver taken by Manayer, owned by Fadhel Haider, and bronze awarded to Aali Queen Victoria from Zouheir Hawilo.
In the mares category, gold was claimed by Jihandra from Osama Al Haram, De Asaliyah from Dubai Arabian Stud took silver, and bronze went to TFK Hala, owned by Talal Fawzi Kanoo. These achievements emphasize the competitive zest and high-quality breeding protocols prevalent in Bahrain.
This championship not only highlights the grace and beauty of Arabian horses but also amplifies Bahrain’s standing in the equestrian domain. Thanks to careful adjudication, robust sponsorship, and lively media engagement, the event encourages local breeding practices and invites greater participation in the Arabian horse community. BREEF aims to further escalate these competitions, making them integral to Bahrain’s equestrian traditions and a yearly attraction for breeders, owners, and aficionados throughout the region.
