Rosé and Bruno Mars’ ‘APT.’ Leads Apple Music’s Global Charts for 2025

In 2025, Rosé and Bruno Mars have marked their presence in the global music scene, as their collaboration “APT.” clinched the top position on Apple Music’s Global Song Chart. The streaming service unveiled its year-end statistics on Tuesday, revealing that this hit track, which gained traction in 2024, sustained its popularity. This accolade marks both artists' inaugural year-end global No. 1.

Close on their heels, Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s celebrated duo “Luther” achieved second place. Bruno Mars made another appearance in third with his heartfelt duet alongside Lady Gaga, “Die With a Smile.” Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which dominated the charts in 2024, regained the fourth spot. Following closely was Billie Eilish with her beloved track “Birds of a Feather,” occupying the fifth position.

Kendrick Lamar’s album “GNX” created ripples this year, captivating audiences globally. Five tracks from this album found their way into the Top 25 of the global chart, underscoring Lamar’s significant influence over this year's musical landscape.

From the 100 songs listed on Apple Music’s chart, 36 were created by women—showing a slight decrease from last year’s record of 39. However, women featured prominently, with seven out of the Top 10 songs showcasing their talent, more than doubling the representation from previous years.

Additionally, “APT.” excelled in several other Apple Music year-end rankings, dominating the Shazam Global Radio Spins chart, the Top 100: Global Radio chart, and the platform's most-read lyrics list. Rachel Newman, Apple Music’s co-head, praised its global reach and emphasized how impactful music transcends cultural boundaries.

Alongside the global charts, Apple Music also released its Replay—its response to Spotify’s Wrapped. Replay allows fans to analyze their listening patterns over the year, highlighting new favorites and trends. Artists will also receive analytics detailing their audience engagement and growth throughout the year.

Recently, Apple Music named Tyler, the Creator as its Artist of the Year. Following the successful launch of his album “Chromakopia,” Tyler amassed an impressive 4.5 billion listening minutes between November 2024 and October 2025. Zane Lowe, Apple Music’s global creative director, commended his bold artistic vision, noting that Tyler continues to inspire many and will leave a lasting legacy.
