Air Arabia has announced the launch of a new non-stop service connecting Sharjah International Airport with London Gatwick, marking a significant step in expanding its international network.
The new service, set to commence on 29th March 2026, will operate twice daily, offering passengers increased flexibility when traveling between the UAE and the United Kingdom.
Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, stated, “The launch of our new service to London Gatwick is a milestone in Air Arabia’s growth journey. This expansion enhances connectivity and reflects our commitment to providing value-driven travel experiences.”
He further added, “London Gatwick will offer customers—whether traveling for business or leisure—a greater choice of affordable and reliable air travel options. We look forward to welcoming travelers onboard and connecting the UAE with the United Kingdom directly.”
Jonathan Pollard, Chief Commercial Officer at London Gatwick, commented, “Demand for flights to the Middle East has surged this year, and we are thrilled to welcome Air Arabia in March. This new route connects London and the South East with the historic city of Sharjah and the wider Middle Eastern region.”
The addition of London Gatwick to Air Arabia’s network underscores the airline’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible, convenient, and cost-effective travel options, while supporting growing trade and tourism between the UAE and the UK.
