Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, highlighted how ADIHEX strengthens Abu Dhabi’s global position as a hub for preserving Emirati heritage. He explained that the exhibition is not just a place for entertainment but also a platform for sharing knowledge, showcasing traditional sports, and promoting sustainable hunting and equestrian practices.

Al Mansouri emphasized the vital role of UAE leadership in supporting cultural events and praised sponsors and partners for their contributions. “This year’s edition is exceptional in every way,” he said, adding that the exhibition connects heritage lovers, families, and professionals from across the globe.

Record-Breaking Participation

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, explained that the exhibition surpassed all expectations. Over nine days, ADIHEX attracted a wide audience including:

  • Experts and professionals from various outdoor sports sectors
  • Heritage enthusiasts from the UAE and abroad
  • Families and tourists exploring Emirati traditions

The exhibition featured 15 main sectors, showcasing a range of activities such as equestrian sports, falconry, hunting, fishing, camping, arts and crafts, and UAE heritage. Four new sectors were introduced this year:

  • Souq Sector – traditional markets and Emirati crafts
  • Knives Sector – traditional and modern knives from local and international makers
  • Arabian Saluki Sector – showcasing the prized Arabian hunting dogs
  • Dedicated Camel Sector – focusing on camels, breeding, and racing

Falconry and Camel Auctions

A major highlight of ADIHEX 2025 was the eight falcon auctions, four held before the exhibition and four during the event. These auctions featured top-quality falcons from local and international breeders, attracting more than 21,795 participants, both in-person and online. Total sales for falcons reached AED 2.199 million, while camel auctions generated AED 1.7 million.

Falconry is deeply rooted in Emirati culture, and these auctions offered visitors and professional falconers a unique chance to acquire rare birds while learning more about traditional hunting practices.

Exciting Arena Shows and Competitions

The exhibition’s live arena provided entertainment, cultural displays, and competitions for visitors of all ages. Some of the key events included:

  • Falcon Beauty Contest – showcasing the best falcons in various categories
  • Arabian Saluki Beauty Contest – highlighting the elegance and heritage of Arabian hunting dogs
  • Camel Auctions – a traditional Emirati activity attracting breeders and enthusiasts
  • International Dog Show – featuring rare breeds from around the world
  • Emirati Handler’s Competition – celebrating the skills of traditional animal handlers

Thousands of visitors enjoyed these events, which emphasized authentic Emirati culture and the exhibition’s theme: “The Legacy Lives On”, representing a blend of tradition and modernity.

More than 60% of exhibition space for 2026 is already booked, reflecting growing confidence from international exhibitors.

The success of the 2025 edition has inspired plans for a new exhibition in Al Ain, set for November 2025, further expanding the UAE’s cultural and heritage influence.

Leadership, Sustainability, and Legacy

Al Dhaheri expressed his gratitude to the UAE leadership for supporting cultural preservation and sustainable initiatives. The exhibition highlighted:

  • Wildlife and marine conservation
  • Promotion of sustainable hunting practices
  • Passing cultural traditions to new generations

Saad Al Hassani, ADIHEX Event Director, said that this edition further established Abu Dhabi as a global platform for cultural exchange. Visitors could explore 46 elite falcon breeding farms, acquire high-quality falcons, and enjoy a variety of competitions and displays.

Looking Ahead
