The Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) is organizing the event. This year, Japan will be the special guest country. The festival will include performances like ballet, opera, orchestra, and music. It will show how Abu Dhabi is becoming a leading place for art and culture.
The event will focus on creativity and bringing different cultures together. It helps build understanding and friendship between nations. It also highlights the UAE’s growing importance in the world of art.
One key highlight is the world premiere of Debussy's "Pelléas et Mélisande" by the Opera National de Paris, directed by Canadian-Lebanese artist Wajdi Mouawad. This is a special mix of opera and Arab culture.
The festival will also feature visual arts with exhibitions in partnership with the Seoul Museum of Art in Korea. These exhibitions will travel to China, Japan, and Singapore, making it one of the largest cultural projects in the region.
