The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has joined hands with the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) to introduce a special program aimed at training UAE Nationals to become professional real estate agents. This initiative is expected to boost economic growth in the Al Ain region by providing job opportunities and supporting the real estate market.

As part of this initiative, 300 UAE Nationals from Al Ain will receive thorough training and official certification, allowing them to become licensed real estate agents. The training will be delivered by top institutions, ensuring that participants gain the skills and knowledge required for success in the industry. Once they complete the program, they will receive the necessary licenses to work professionally in the real estate sector.

ADDED is continuously working to strengthen the economy of Al Ain and the entire Abu Dhabi region. Through projects like the Al Ain Economic Development Programme, the department is encouraging private sector growth, creating new job opportunities, and focusing on sustainable development. The collaboration with ADREC highlights ADDED’s commitment to supporting UAE Nationals by working closely with the private sector to train and hire local talent.

This partnership is a major step forward for ADREC as well. By training UAE Nationals, ADREC is helping to develop a strong and competitive real estate sector in Abu Dhabi. The involvement of Emirati professionals in the industry is expected to bring new energy and ensure high standards of service and professionalism.

His Excellency Badr Al-Olama, Acting Director General of Economic Affairs at ADDED, emphasized the importance of this collaboration. He stated, “At ADDED, we believe in empowering Emirati talent and ensuring they play a key role in driving economic growth. Real estate is an important sector, and through this partnership with ADREC, we are not just offering training—we are investing in the future of UAE professionals. By equipping them with the right skills, we aim to boost investor confidence and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s economy.”

Eng Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director General of ADREC, also expressed his enthusiasm for the project. He said, “At ADREC, we are committed to improving the real estate sector by providing UAE Nationals with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. Our partnership with ADDED is a reflection of our dedication to building a strong, reliable, and sustainable real estate market. By training and licensing Emirati brokers, we are not only creating jobs but also ensuring that the highest standards of professionalism and transparency are maintained in the industry.”

This initiative is part of ADREC’s larger mission to make Abu Dhabi’s real estate market more competitive and welcoming to global investors. Recently, ADREC collaborated with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) to train 500 UAE Nationals, helping them become certified real estate brokers. These combined efforts demonstrate Abu Dhabi’s commitment to developing a skilled workforce and ensuring Emiratis take the lead in shaping the future of the real estate industry.
