The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the recent attack on a United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) convoy near Beirut Airport. The incident caused a fire and resulted in the injury of one peacekeeper from the international mission.
Lana Nusseibeh, the UAE's Assistant Minister for Political Affairs, expressed the country's strong disapproval of the attack. She stated that targeting peacekeepers goes against the principles of international law and directly violates UN Security Council Resolution 1701. This resolution was created to maintain peace and security in Lebanon.

The UAE continues to advocate for peace and cooperation in Lebanon, urging respect for international agreements that safeguard the efforts of peacekeeping missions around the world.
