Travis Kelce 'Really Liked' Taylor Swift Early On; Jason Kelce Went 'Insane'

Jason Kelce recently shared how he first found out about his younger brother, Travis Kelce, dating Taylor Swift. During his appearance on The Steam Room podcast on February 21, the former Philadelphia Eagles star opened up about the early days of the romance between the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the global pop icon.

While chatting with hosts Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson, Jason was asked when he first heard about Travis and Taylor’s relationship. Jason admitted that he couldn’t remember the exact moment but recalled Travis casually mentioning that he had been “hanging out” with the Look What You Made Me Do singer.

At first, Jason couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He described his reaction, saying, “I remember just being like, ‘Are you kidding me? Are you hanging out with Taylor Swift? That’s insane. That’s awesome for you.’”

Jason also revealed that, even back then, he could tell this was something special for his brother. The way Travis spoke about Taylor at the time—and the way he still talks about her—felt different. “You could tell how much he liked her, right from the start,” Jason added.

Earlier this week, Jason also shared how the relationship has influenced Travis. He playfully compared his younger brother to Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, suggesting that Travis had always been youthful and carefree. However, Jason pointed out that the people around Travis have helped him grow, and he hinted that Taylor has played a big role in that transformation. “Since they’ve been together, he’s grown up a lot,” Jason remarked.

For those who may not know, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift began dating in 2023, and their relationship has since become one of the most talked-about love stories in sports and entertainment.
