His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of the UAE, and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, reviewed the Economic Security Center of Dubai’s plan for 2025-2030. The new plan aims to make Dubai’s economy stronger and more stable. It focuses on finding new investment chances, dealing with possible economic risks, and stopping economic crimes. This will help Dubai maintain its position as a top global business hub.

Sheikh Maktoum discussed the strategy in a meeting with His Excellency Lieutenant General Talal Belhoul Al Falasi, Chairman of the Economic Security Center, His Excellency Faisal bin Sulaitin, CEO of the Center, and other board members.

During the meeting, Sheikh Maktoum learned about the goals of the new strategy. These goals are connected to Dubai’s long-term economic plans under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. The plan focuses on taking early steps to protect Dubai’s progress and ensure its economy continues to grow sustainably by avoiding possible risks.

Sheikh Maktoum praised the efforts of the Economic Security Center. He acknowledged their role in stopping harmful practices like fraud and corruption, which could hurt Dubai’s economy. He also highlighted the Center’s role in making Dubai’s economy safer through its detailed services.

“Dubai has built a strong name worldwide as a leader in trade and business, thanks to its safe environment and its tough actions against financial crimes,” Sheikh Maktoum said. “Our goal is clear: to keep Dubai as a global hub of innovation and opportunities while ensuring the highest level of economic security. Dubai will continue to inspire the world with its determination, ambition, and ability to earn trust by finding proactive ways to support growth and success.”

The strategy has six main parts. These include spotting economic risks early, improving future planning and development, fighting economic crimes, building strong partnerships, preparing for challenges, and involving the community in protecting Dubai’s economy. The plan also has clear goals, such as promoting sustainability, boosting economic growth, monitoring compliance, and stopping corruption, money laundering, and terrorism financing. It also focuses on tracking economic problems and finding ways to prevent and handle them when they occur.

Lieutenant General Talal Belhoul Al Falasi thanked Sheikh Maktoum for his constant support. He said the leadership’s vision pushes the Center to keep Dubai at the top of global economic standards. He added that the Center is committed to using modern technologies, offering training, and taking steps to reduce risks, ensuring Dubai stays a safe place for businesses and investors.

Faisal bin Sulaitin, CEO of the Economic Security Center, said the new strategy is a big step forward for Dubai’s economy. It provides a forward-thinking plan to make the city’s economy stronger and more stable. He emphasized the focus on transparency, responsibility, and flexibility, as well as using advanced technology, working across different sectors, and taking steps to ensure Dubai remains a trusted place for global investors.

The Economic Security Center of Dubai plays a key role in spreading economic knowledge, offering special studies, advice, and training programs. It works with local and international organizations and takes part in global financial and economic discussions. The Center also fights harmful activities like corruption, fraud, money laundering, and terrorism financing. It ensures that legal actions are taken in coordination with the courts to keep Dubai’s economy stable and secure.
