Dubai: Jazeera Airways has resumed its flights to Dubai, reopening a vital route for travelers from Kuwait and restoring access to one of the world’s most connected aviation hubs.
The Dubai route allows passengers to connect seamlessly to destinations across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, providing more travel options amid ongoing regional disruptions.
In addition, the airline has reinstated its full Indian network, now covering eight cities, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kochi, Ahmedabad, and Thiruvananthapuram. Since operations resumed on March 20, over 1,300 passengers have traveled between Kuwait and India, reflecting steady demand.
Barathan Pasupathi, CEO of Jazeera Airways, said, “Restoring our entire Indian network is a significant milestone. With one of the largest expatriate communities in Kuwait, this is not just connectivity—it’s about bringing people closer to home and family. In close coordination with the Indian Embassy, we are proud to strengthen this vital air bridge.”
The airline highlighted the strategic importance of the Dubai route, describing it as a gateway for passengers to reach destinations far beyond the region. Pasupathi added, “Dubai is one of the world’s most connected cities. Resuming this route ensures our passengers can travel safely, reliably, and with greater choice.”
Currently, flights operate via Qaisumah Airport in Saudi Arabia, with passengers transferred overland from Kuwait before onward journeys. Jazeera Airways confirmed that bookings are now open, with plans to expand destinations and flight frequencies in phases.
