Kicking off the summit, the renowned strategic futurist Dr. Mark van Rijmenam, an authority on digital transformation and advanced technologies, will deliver a keynote address exploring how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing food processing. His talk will highlight the role of AI in enhancing automation, utilizing digital twins to optimize production, and addressing potential risks, such as data privacy and ethical considerations in AI applications.
Joining Dr. van Rijmenam on the stage are several influential voices speaking in the UAE for the first time. These include Ethan Baehrend, founder and CEO of Creative 3D Technologies and UN Voice for Sustainable Manufacturing, known for his work in sustainable machinery design; Gustavo Burger, CEO of Believer Meats; Manar Alkassar, serial entrepreneur and Co-Founder of the B2B platform Kaso; and Jihyun Junga, CEO of Mush&, a pioneering company that develops sustainable, fungi-based food materials. These thought leaders will bring fresh insights and perspectives on advancing the food manufacturing sector through sustainability, digital innovation, and forward-thinking practices.
As Gulfood Manufacturing reaches its tenth year, it solidifies its reputation as a global platform for innovation in food technology. This year's edition is expected to drive impactful discussions, inspire new partnerships, and showcase the transformative potential of technology in food manufacturing, ensuring the industry continues to adapt and evolve in an increasingly digital and sustainable world.
