Errol Musk says Elon will struggle to connect if he enters politics

Elon Musk, the man behind companies like Tesla and SpaceX, is known for his work in technology and space. But recently, some people have started talking about whether he might go into politics. However, his father, Errol Musk, is not sure that politics is the right fit for Elon. In a recent interview with Al Arabiya News, Errol shared his thoughts about why Elon might not be the best person for politics.

Errol said that politics requires working with many different types of people, from highly educated to less educated. He believes that Elon, who has spent his career working with the best professionals, might struggle to connect with ordinary people. "Elon is not cut out for politics," Errol said. "Politics is about dealing with everyone... If you can’t do that, don’t get into politics."

In recent years, more people have started to wonder if Elon Musk might want to go into politics. He has been seen at important government meetings, and some people think he might be interested in a leadership role. However, there is one big problem: Elon was born in South Africa, which could make it difficult for him to run for president.

Errol also compared Elon to former U.S. president Donald Trump. Both men have a direct and sometimes harsh way of talking, which could make it hard for them to connect with regular voters. Errol pointed out that Trump’s bold style made some people not like him, and he thinks Elon might face the same issue if he ever wanted to run for office.

Errol also talked about Elon’s work in government. Elon is the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and an investigation into the department found many problems. Errol said the only solution was to shut the whole department down because it was so badly managed. “The rottenness was so enormous that the only solution was to completely close down the entire department immediately,” Errol explained.

There was also a time when people said Elon made a Nazi salute during Trump’s inauguration. Errol said that wasn’t true. He explained that Elon was nervous while speaking in public and that made him seem awkward. “Elon is a terrible public speaker. He has a lot to learn. We all do,” Errol said.

Even though Elon Musk is famous for his business success, his father doesn’t think politics is the right path for him. Errol believes that Elon should focus on his companies and inventions, not politics. For now, it looks like Elon will stay in the business world and not try to become a politician.
