Dubai Health and Dubai Future District Fund (DFDF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for HealthTech innovation.
This partnership is aligned with Dubai’s D33 Economic Agenda and aims to build a strong HealthTech and TechBio ecosystem in the city. The focus will be on supporting high-impact startups and driving innovation in key areas such as biotechnology, digital health, AI diagnostics, drug discovery, robotics, medical devices, and personalized medicine.
The agreement was signed by Atif Al Braiki, Chief Digital and AI Officer at Dubai Health, and Nader Albastaki, Managing Director at DFDF.
Under this collaboration, both organizations will combine their resources and expertise from public and private sectors. Their goal is to generate globally relevant clinical and commercial outcomes while supporting research, innovation, and business growth.
Nader Albastaki said Dubai has strong potential to become a global center for healthcare innovation. He added that this partnership will help create a sustainable, innovation-driven health economy that serves both regional and global needs.
Atif Al Braiki highlighted that the collaboration will create a supportive environment for startups and new technologies to grow. He said the initiative will help improve healthcare solutions and strengthen Dubai’s role as a leader in HealthTech.
The partnership will also focus on promoting academic research, knowledge sharing, and intellectual property development. Overall, the initiative aims to deliver real benefits for patients and support the future of healthcare innovation.
