Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy Highlights Expand North Star 2024 Benefits for Chinese Companies

Dubai: The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, a key entity under Dubai Chambers, in collaboration with Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), has successfully organized a promotional campaign across China to highlight this year's edition of Expand North Star. Scheduled to take place at Dubai Harbour from October 13 to 16, Expand North Star is renowned as the world's largest event for startups and investors, facilitated by DWTC and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.

The promotional campaign spanned multiple cities including Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, engaging with over 330 companies and 19 digital business partners. Its primary objective was to showcase the compelling advantages of participating in Expand North Star 2024, emphasizing Dubai's robust ecosystem and strategic location for global business engagement.

Throughout the roadshow, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy facilitated meaningful dialogues and networking opportunities with Chinese enterprises and trade associations. This initiative aimed to expand the chamber's network within the digital sector and encourage increased participation from Chinese firms in the upcoming exhibition.

Highlighting diverse digital realms such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, Internet of Things, blockchain, robotics, network security, smart city technologies, cleantech, and medical technology, the roadshow also featured pitch competitions in each city. Winners of these competitions received fully funded opportunities to join Expand North Star 2024 and secure entry into the semi-final stage of the Supernova Challenge, a prominent feature of the event.

Expand North Star serves as a pivotal platform for attracting the global technology community to Dubai, fostering innovation, collaboration, and partnerships with influential technology stakeholders worldwide. The event facilitates connections between leading startups, innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, and global industry pioneers to explore growth prospects and contribute to Dubai's burgeoning digital economy.

Aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy is dedicated to advancing Dubai's digital transformation and positioning the emirate as a foremost global hub for innovation and advanced technologies. Expand North Star underscores the chamber's strategic efforts to bolster Dubai's stature as a center of excellence for technology and drive sustainable economic development locally and internationally.
