The Endowments and Minors’ Funds Authority – Awqaf Abu Dhabi has launched the Athar Festival 2026, a family-friendly event celebrating generosity and community giving. The festival runs from 25 to 29 March 2026 at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of shows, entertainment experiences, creative workshops, and shopping opportunities. All proceeds from ticket sales and activities will go to the Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans, supporting education, healthcare, and social empowerment for orphans in the UAE.
Held under the “With You for Life” theme, the festival emphasizes family cohesion, social solidarity, and community support, aligning with the Year of Family.
His Excellency Fahad Abdulqader Al Qassim, Director General of Awqaf Abu Dhabi, said:
"The Athar Festival transforms community engagement and family celebration into sustainable giving. Every contribution helps orphans with long-term support in education, healthcare, and social empowerment. We invite everyone to join and embrace the spirit of giving that defines UAE society."
The festival also supports small businesses and entrepreneurs, enhancing local economic participation while encouraging visitors to connect, contribute, and make a meaningful social impact. Funds are invested through approved models overseen by Awqaf Abu Dhabi, ensuring lasting benefits for the community.
The Athar Festival 2026 is not only a celebration of family and fun but also a platform for social impact and sustainable giving, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s commitment to community development and the welfare of its most vulnerable members.
