Arada Awards AED1.55bn W Residences Dubai Harbour

UAE-based developer Arada has awarded the main construction contract for W Residences at Dubai Harbour to Engineering Contracting Company (LLC).

The AED1.55 billion agreement covers the delivery of all three towers of the luxury waterfront development located at Dubai Harbour.

Early Works Already Underway

Enabling works at the site have already started. Excavation and piling began after a separate AED51 million contract was awarded to APCC Piling & Marine Contracting.

Project Scope and Design

The main construction contract includes the development of 490 branded luxury residences spread across three towers. The homes will be connected by a landscaped podium featuring premium shared amenities.

Valued at AED5 billion, the mixed-use project will offer a wide range of apartments and duplexes. It will also include rooftop penthouses with private swimming pools.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, said the appointment marks an important milestone for one of the UAE’s most anticipated waterfront destinations. He added that the project will combine modern architecture with marina living and offer panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline.

The 40-storey complex will be operated by Marriott International. The development is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification.

It forms part of the wider Dubai Harbour master plan developed by Shamal Holding, which includes retail, hospitality, cruise and yachting facilities.

The W Residences at Dubai Harbour is expected to become one of the most iconic waterfront residential projects in the UAE, offering luxury living with world-class amenities and a prime marina location.
