In a generous move to welcome the New Year, Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has announced free surface parking (Mawaqif) starting from Monday, January 1, 2024, until 7.59 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. This initiative extends to the Mussafah M-18 truck parking lot, providing a respite for motorists during the holiday period.

While the free parking offers convenience to residents and visitors, the ITC emphasizes the importance of adhering to parking regulations. Motorists are urged to refrain from parking in prohibited areas, obstructing vehicle movement, and avoiding parking in residential areas between 9 pm and 8 am. This call for responsible parking aligns with the goal of maintaining order and ensuring smooth traffic flow during the festive season.

Simultaneously, the ITC announces the closure of all Customer Happiness Centers during the holiday on Monday, January 1, 2024, with regular working hours resuming on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. This temporary closure aims to facilitate the festivities while ensuring that essential services continue seamlessly.

Despite the holiday closure of Customer Happiness Centers, the ITC assures continuous availability of essential services through various channels. The Darb and Darbe smartphone apps, the 24/7 call center reachable at 800850, the TAMM Platform, and Abu Dhabi Taxi services at 600535353 ensure that residents can access vital information and support round the clock.

As part of its commitment to providing accessible and efficient services, the ITC ensures that residents and visitors can utilize these channels at any time, ensuring convenience and support even during the holiday period. The integration of technology, such as smartphone apps and online platforms, reflects the ITC's forward-thinking approach to enhancing user experience and ensuring that information is readily available to the public.

In conclusion, Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre's announcement of free parking during the New Year's holiday reflects a thoughtful gesture towards the community. This initiative not only offers practical benefits to motorists but also underscores the importance of responsible parking practices. As the ITC facilitates the festivities by temporarily closing Customer Happiness Centers, the commitment to continuous service through digital channels highlights the organization's dedication to ensuring accessibility and convenience for all residents and visitors, even during special occasions. This holistic approach to urban management contributes to the overall well-being and satisfaction of the community, aligning with Abu Dhabi's vision for a smart and responsive city.
