Chelsea won against Manchester City again and moved to the Women’s Champions League semi-finals. This was the fourth time the two teams played each other this month. Chelsea had already won against City in the League Cup final and in the Women’s Super League with a 2-1 victory.

Now, Chelsea will play Barcelona in the next round. Barcelona had a very strong match against VfL Wolfsburg, winning 6-1 in the second leg. This gave them a 10-2 win overall, and they will face Chelsea just like last year in the semi-final.

Chelsea started the game well and scored first in the 14th minute. Lucy Bronze took a shot that hit the post, and the ball bounced back into play. Sandy Baltimore reacted quickly and kicked the ball into the net, beating City goalkeeper Khiara Keating.

The second goal came in the 38th minute. Chelsea won a corner kick, and Sandy Baltimore sent the ball into the box. Nathalie Bjorn jumped high and headed the ball into the goal, making it 2-0.

Just five minutes later, Chelsea scored again. Lauren James made a great pass into the box, and Mayra Ramirez finished it with a strong shot, making it 3-0 before halftime.

In the second half, Manchester City tried hard to fight back. They had good chances to score, but Vivianne Miedema, Mary Fowler, and Kerolin all missed clear shots at the goal.

City’s goalkeeper, Khiara Keating, made some great saves to stop Chelsea from scoring more goals. In the second half, Aggie Beever-Jones took a left-footed shot, but Keating saved it. Later, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd also had a good shot, but it was blocked by the City defense.

After the game, Chelsea captain Millie Bright said she was very confident in her team. "We were never in doubt. We had full confidence in ourselves. We could have had way more than three goals," she said. "We are a new team, we are on a new journey, we are in a new era. Bring it on."

Chelsea will now face Barcelona in the semi-finals, which will be a big match. In the other semi-final, Olympique Lyonnais will play against Arsenal. The final will be held on May 24 in Lisbon.
