China Construction Bank Launches Internal Financial Model

China Construction Bank (CCB) said on Friday that it has started using a new computer model called DeepSeek R1 to help with money matters inside the bank. This new system was set up earlier this year and is only for the bank’s own use.

The bank’s leader, Zhang Yi, talked about this during a meeting where he shared the bank’s yearly money report. He said that the model was “privately deployed,” which means only CCB workers can use it, and it is not for the public.

DeepSeek R1 is a smart computer system that helps the bank study big sets of money data. It can check risks, make better money decisions, and help the bank work faster. CCB wants to use this new system to improve its work and keep up with changes in the banking world.

Zhang Yi did not give a lot of details about how the system works, but he said that it will help the bank follow rules and keep customer data safe. More banks in China are now using smart computer programs to handle money and make business choices.
