The roar of engines returns to Yas Marina Circuit this weekend as Abu Dhabi’s iconic racing venue launches its 2025/26 motorsport season with the opening round of the Yas Racing Series. Fans can look forward to free entry, a full weekend of adrenaline-pumping races, and a variety of family entertainment both on and off the track.
Taking place from October 31 to November 2, the action-packed weekend will feature two premier regional motorsport championships — the Gulf ProCar Championship, the Middle East’s leading GT and touring car competition, and the Gulf Radical Cup, known for its lightning-fast prototype race cars.
The weekend begins with testing sessions on Thursday, followed by official practice rounds on Friday as teams fine-tune their cars before the big races. The main events on Saturday and Sunday will see top drivers battle for the season’s first championship points, while fans enjoy non-stop excitement from the grandstands and viewing zones.
Adding to the thrill, the Emirates Motorsports Organisation (EMSO) will host live marshal training and a Formula 1 simulation race as part of its preparations for the upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Visitors can also enjoy a host of free family-friendly attractions, including:
Pit Stop Challenge: Test your speed and teamwork in a real tyre-changing competition.
Otaku M.E Experience: Engage in fun gaming sessions and the exciting Tamiya Mini 4WD race track.
Pit Lane Walk: Get an up-close view of the race cars and meet the teams.
ADNOC Yas in Schools Challenge: A hands-on racing activity for kids and young enthusiasts.
Ali Al Bishr, General Manager of Yas Marina Circuit, said: “Motorsport remains at the heart of our vision at Yas Marina Circuit. As we begin the new 2025/26 season, the Yas Racing Series once again brings together top-tier regional competitions like the Gulf ProCar Championship and Gulf Radical Cup. With free entry for fans, we invite everyone to experience the energy, the excitement, and the community spirit that define this circuit.”
Motorsport enthusiasts and families alike are encouraged to register now and be part of this thrilling weekend of racing and entertainment at Yas Marina Circuit.
