UAE President Hosts Rulers at Ramadan Gathering

Abu Dhabi: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan hosted the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, along with Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers and senior officials, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.

The gathering was also attended by Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, who is currently on an official visit to the UAE.

During the meeting, the leaders exchanged Ramadan greetings and prayed that the holy month would bring blessings, peace and prosperity to the UAE, the Islamic world and the wider global community.

Among those received by the President were:

• Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai

• Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah

• Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah

• Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain

• Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah

The meeting was held in the presence of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

The leaders held friendly discussions about the UAE’s continued development and efforts to strengthen the nation, build on its achievements and fulfill the aspirations of its people.

During the gathering, attendees also watched a documentary featuring testimonies from individuals who witnessed the historic founding of the UAE. The film highlighted the moment when the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan raised the UAE flag for the first time, marking the establishment of the Union.

The President also received Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman; and other senior leaders, ministers and officials from across the UAE.

The event concluded with Maghrib prayer performed together, followed by an iftar banquet hosted by the President in honour of the Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers.

The Ramadan gathering reflected unity, leadership and the UAE’s continued commitment to stability, cooperation and national progress.
