His Highness also talked about the development of Dibba Al Hisn. He said he cares a lot about improving the old parts of the city. However, he wants to make sure the people are safe, so development companies are not allowed to work in these areas while the people are still living there. This helps keep the women and children safe. He mentioned the new Al Hisn Island Residential Complex, where new houses have been built. These buildings are clean, have fresh air, and have a beautiful view of the sea and mountains. Each apartment has parking space and its own entrance. His Highness hopes the people of Dibba Al Hisn will move to these new homes for a better life.
He also talked about how the streets of Sharjah are named after important people from history and religion. He said he started a project called “The Shining Names in the Streets of Sharjah.” The names on the streets are of important religious and historical people, many of whom were brave martyrs or companions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). One of these names is Dhimam bin Tha’laba Al Sa’di, a great companion of the Prophet. His Highness told a story about a man who didn’t know the meaning of the name "Tha’laba" on a street sign near his house. His Highness explained to him that Dhimam bin Tha’laba was an important historical figure.
His Highness explained that the streets of Sharjah are named after people who did good things for society and were kind and honest. He urged the people of Sharjah to learn more about these important people and their stories. He carefully chose the names of the streets, making sure not to use any names related to conflicts or problems. He encouraged the people to learn about their religion, their history, and their culture, starting with the names of the streets around them.
His Highness hopes that everyone in Sharjah will be proud of their heritage, learn about the great people who shaped their country, and continue to live in peace and harmony.
