Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment (MBRHC) has contributed AED 20 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The campaign aims to honour fathers in the UAE by setting up a lasting endowment fund to provide medical care and treatment for those in need. The contribution from MBRHC aligns with the campaign’s mission to support the poor and sick, ensuring they receive proper healthcare.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum highlighted that the Fathers’ Endowment campaign represents the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, focusing on sustainable charity work. He emphasized that this initiative strengthens the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian efforts and assisting those in need. He also noted that the campaign not only supports the underprivileged but also honours fathers for their role in shaping future generations and teaching valuable life lessons.

“This endowment fund will have a deep and lasting impact, providing ongoing healthcare support for the less fortunate,” Sheikh Ahmed said. “It is inspired by the teachings of Islam and reflects the values upheld by our leaders and founding fathers. The UAE and Dubai are dedicated to expanding charitable efforts and ensuring help reaches those in need around the world.”

His Excellency Abdullah Al Basti, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of MBRHC, shared similar thoughts, saying that the campaign represents strong social solidarity and promotes cooperation. He stressed that it gives people the chance to contribute to charitable causes and reinforces the importance of mutual support within society.

“Following the direction of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, MBRHC is committed to backing the humanitarian initiatives introduced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,” Al Basti said. “We are using all our resources and experience to support these noble goals. We hope our contribution to this Ramadan campaign helps in achieving its mission of ensuring healthcare for those who need it most.”

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment has been a strong supporter of various humanitarian projects led by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid. In the past, the Establishment has donated to many major Ramadan food aid initiatives, including the ‘10 Million Meals’, ‘100 Million Meals’, ‘1 Billion Meals’, and ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ campaigns. Last year, MBRHC also contributed to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, which honoured mothers by setting up a AED 1 billion endowment fund to support education for millions of people worldwide.

A project under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), the Fathers’ Endowment campaign encourages people to donate in their fathers’ names, reinforcing values of respect, generosity, and kindness. The initiative further strengthens the UAE’s reputation as a global leader in humanitarian and charitable work. It also reflects the strong values of giving and compassion that are deeply rooted in Emirati culture.

People and organizations can still donate to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign through multiple channels. Donations can be made via the campaign’s official website (Fathersfund.ae) or through a dedicated toll-free number (800 4999). Contributions can also be sent via bank transfers in UAE dirhams to Emirates Islamic Bank (IBAN: AE020340003518492868201).

Additionally, donations can be made by sending the word “Father” via SMS to specific numbers: 1034 to donate AED 10, 1035 to donate AED 50, 1036 to donate AED 100, and 1038 to donate AED 500. This option is available for both Etisalat by e& and du users. Other digital platforms such as the DubaiNow app (under the ‘Donations’ tab) and the Jood community platform (Jood.ae) also offer donation options.

The Fathers’ Endowment campaign continues to receive strong support, reflecting the UAE’s dedication to humanitarian work and its commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of people in need.
