Hollywood star Hugh Jackman confirmed his relationship with actor Sutton Foster in January this year. However, sources have revealed that Sutton, though deeply in love with Hugh, is feeling the pressure of being constantly in the public eye.
A close source shared with Radar Online that Sutton is struggling with the attention and pressure that comes with dating someone as famous as Hugh. With Hugh filming in Northern Ireland for his new movie The Death of Robin Hood, Sutton is feeling overwhelmed. The source explained, "The pressure is starting to get to her these days. She’s feeling the weight of public scrutiny, especially with the negative noise coming from Hugh’s estranged wife’s side. Though she and Hugh are in love, their relationship has come with a lot of challenges."
Earlier, Hugh’s first wife, Deborra-lee Furness, expressed doubts about the relationship, saying she believed it would not last. A source close to Deborra-lee said, "She believes it will burn out within a year, long before it can truly last." They also suggested that Hugh, who has been through a tough time, is relying heavily on Sutton for support, which they believe could be a reason the relationship won’t work out.

Sutton, who is not used to this level of fame, is reportedly finding it difficult to handle the attention. While she has experience with the spotlight at events, she wasn’t prepared for the global attention that comes with dating Hugh, whose international fame brings a whole new level of pressure.
Sutton and Hugh had been rumored to be dating for a while before they finally went public with their relationship in January. The couple was seen taking a walk in Los Angeles, and later photos of them on a date night went viral. The photos showed them sharing a passionate kiss outside a burger joint in San Fernando and chatting while sitting in a car.
Hugh was previously married to actor-producer Deborra-lee Furness for 27 years, but they separated in September 2023. In 2024, Sutton also divorced her second husband, screenwriter Ted Griffin, after 10 years of marriage.
