His Highness Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Tennis Federation, awarded the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships trophy to the winner, Stefanos Tsitsipas. The award ceremony took place in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum after an exciting final match in the 33rd edition of the men’s tournament.
This prestigious event is an important part of the ATP 500 series and was held under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The final ceremony took place on the famous Centre Court at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium, marking the end of a thrilling week of high-level men’s tennis. The tournament featured eight of the world’s top 20 players.

Tsitsipas won the men’s singles title after an intense match in front of a cheering audience. With great skill, focus, and energy, the Greek player defeated Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets (6-3, 6-3) to claim victory in this exciting competition.
The awards ceremony was attended by several important guests, including Ramesh Cidambi, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free and Chairman of the Tournament Organising Committee; Nasser Youssef Al Marzouqi, General Secretary of the UAE Tennis Federation; Salah Tahlak, Deputy Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free and Tournament Director of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships; and Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Dubai Duty Free.
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships continues to be a major international sports event, bringing together top male and female tennis players from around the world. Over the last two weeks, players competed for WTA singles and doubles titles, followed by the ATP singles and doubles titles. Spectators enjoyed thrilling matches and unforgettable performances.
In the doubles final, India’s Yuki Bhambri and Alexei Popyrin from Australia defeated Harri Heliovaara from Croatia and Henry Patten from Great Britain in an exciting three-set match (3-6, 7-6, 10-8).
Ramesh Cidambi shared his thoughts, saying, “The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is known for attracting the best male and female players every year. Our WTA 1000 and ATP 500 events have become popular and well-respected. This year, we have seen some amazing matches, fantastic performances, and a wonderful atmosphere. We thank the ATP players and officials for making this event special. We look forward to hosting them again next year.”
Salah Tahlak also commented, “Congratulations to our winners! We had a fantastic week of tennis. A big thank you to the media and fans for their support. We also appreciate the hard work of everyone who helped make this tournament a success.”
