Emirates is expanding its global network by introducing three new destinations: Shenzhen in China, Da Nang in Vietnam, and Siem Reap in Cambodia. This move strengthens its presence in Asia, offering travelers more options for business and leisure trips.
Starting from July 1, 2025, Emirates will launch daily non-stop flights from Dubai to Shenzhen. Additionally, the airline will introduce four weekly flights to Da Nang on June 2 and three weekly flights to Siem Reap on June 3. With these additions, Emirates now has the largest and most diverse route network among non-Asian airlines in East Asia. The airline will operate 269 flights per week from Dubai to 24 destinations in the region. Shenzhen becomes Emirates’ fourth destination in mainland China, Da Nang is its third in Vietnam, and Siem Reap is its second in Cambodia.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, shared his excitement about the expansion. He emphasized that Emirates is committed to offering seamless travel experiences across Southeast Asia and East Asia. The new route to Shenzhen will boost trade and business connections, while Da Nang’s addition comes at the perfect time, following the economic partnership agreement between the UAE and Vietnam. Emirates also aims to make travel to Siem Reap, home to the famous Angkor Wat, easier and more convenient for tourists.
New Flights to Shenzhen Emirates will be the first Middle Eastern airline to operate a daily service to Shenzhen, a major technology and innovation hub in China. The airline first established direct flights to China in 2002 with services to Shanghai, building strong ties between the UAE and China over the years.
Flights to Shenzhen have been scheduled to provide excellent connections for travelers coming from Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. Emirates flight EK328 will leave Dubai at 10:05 AM and arrive in Shenzhen at 10:00 PM. The return flight, EK329, will depart Shenzhen at 11:55 PM and land in Dubai at 3:40 AM the next day.
Shenzhen will also be the first Chinese destination to receive Emirates’ upgraded Boeing 777-300ER, featuring the latest Business Class seats and Premium Economy cabins. This aircraft has four classes: 8 private First Class suites, 40 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 260 Economy Class seats.
Emirates also plays a key role in cargo transportation. The airline carries 2,000 tonnes of cargo from China each week, and the Shenzhen route will enhance global trade. The city is known for producing high-tech electronics, and Emirates SkyCargo will transport up to 10 tonnes of cargo per flight, supporting exports of gadgets, e-commerce items, and other products.
Expanding in Vietnam and Cambodia Emirates’ flights to Da Nang and Siem Reap will connect via Bangkok. The airline’s four weekly flights to Da Nang will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using a Boeing 777.
Flight EK370 will depart Dubai at 9:00 AM, arrive in Bangkok at 6:25 PM, and leave for Da Nang at 8:10 PM. It will land in Da Nang at 9:50 PM. The return flight, EK371, will depart Da Nang at 11:30 PM, stop in Bangkok, and arrive in Dubai at 6:50 AM the next day.
Flights to Siem Reap will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight EK370 will follow the same schedule to Bangkok and then depart for Siem Reap at 8:10 PM, landing at 9:30 PM. The return flight, EK371, will depart Siem Reap at 11:50 PM and reach Dubai at 6:50 AM, stopping in Bangkok on the way.
Both Da Nang and Siem Reap flights will use Emirates’ two-class Boeing 777-300ER, featuring 35 Business Class seats and 386 Economy Class seats. The schedules are designed to provide smooth connections to and from Europe, the US, and the Middle East.
Passengers flying with Emirates can also enjoy seamless multi-city travel through Bangkok, with five daily flights connecting to various destinations. While waiting, premium travelers can relax in the newly expanded Emirates lounge at Bangkok Airport.
For travelers flying to these new destinations, Emirates ensures a top-tier experience with excellent in-flight entertainment, regionally inspired meals, and comfortable seating across all cabin classes. The airline’s award-winning entertainment system, ICE, offers over 6,500 channels, including content in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Khmer.
Through its partnerships with 24 airlines, Emirates offers even more travel options. Passengers can plan multi-city journeys with ease, connecting through Bangkok and beyond.
Emirates Holidays also offers specially designed travel packages, allowing visitors to explore multiple destinations in one trip. Travelers can combine Dubai with Vietnam, Cambodia, or Thailand, enjoying cultural experiences, stunning landscapes, and relaxing getaways.
This expansion highlights Emirates’ commitment to connecting people and businesses across the world, making travel more accessible, convenient, and enjoyable.
