The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat has introduced "Emirates Endowment" as the single name for all endowment projects in the UAE. This step shows the country’s strong values of kindness and helping the community. It also proves that the UAE is leading in creating smart and useful endowment programs.

To support this, the authority has started a big campaign to teach people about Waqf (Islamic endowments). The goal is to make 80 percent of people aware of the importance of Waqf. They also want to grow Waqf earnings by 10 percent compared to last year. The plan is to collect AED 150 million from old endowment projects and AED 233 million to build new ones.
This campaign matches with the UAE’s Year of Community. It will help Emirates Endowment become a well-known and trusted way for people to donate money for good causes.
To increase investment and community support, Emirates Endowment has finished making plans for eight new projects. These will be launched in different parts of the country to benefit more people.
With this plan, the UAE aims to make endowments stronger, more organized, and more open. The goal is to create a culture of giving and support that benefits everyone in the country.
