FIFA has announced that the total prize money for the upcoming 32-team Club World Cup will be $1 billion (AED 3.67 billion). The tournament will take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025. The competition is expected to generate around $2 billion (AED 7.35 billion) in revenue, ensuring that FIFA’s financial reserves remain untouched. FIFA President Gianni Infantino confirmed that a portion of the money earned will be invested in club football worldwide.

Infantino also stated that FIFA will not retain any of the revenue from the tournament. Instead, all participating clubs will receive a fee for entering the group stage. Additionally, teams will earn extra prize money based on their performance and results throughout the competition.
Among the 32 teams competing, the UAE’s Al Ain will represent the country in the prestigious tournament. Al Ain is set to face Italy’s Juventus on June 19 and will later play against English club Manchester City on June 23. The tournament promises high-level football as top clubs from around the world compete for the title.
