Emirates Airlines had a strong and impactful presence at ITB Berlin 2025, the world's largest travel trade show. Over the three-day event, the airline strengthened its global partnerships, signed 11 important agreements, and welcomed more than 6,000 visitors to its stand. Emirates also held 270 high-level meetings, reinforcing its role in shaping the future of travel.

The airline's stand showcased its newest A350 cabin products, including the latest seating options, its famous Onboard Lounge, and the luxurious Shower Spa. In addition, Emirates highlighted its sustainability initiatives, reflecting its commitment to environmentally friendly travel.

Expanding Connections in Asia

Just before ITB Berlin 2025, Emirates announced three new flight routes to major Asian cities: Shenzhen in China (starting July 1), Da Nang in Vietnam (starting June 2), and Siem Reap in Cambodia (starting June 3). These new destinations will create better travel opportunities for both business and leisure passengers, improving access to Southeast and East Asia.

Strengthening Central Europe and Mediterranean Travel

At ITB Berlin, Emirates renewed its agreement with the Austrian National Tourist Office (ANTO) to promote Austria as a key travel destination. This comes as the airline marks 20 years of service to Vienna, having transported over 5 million passengers between Dubai and the Austrian capital.

Emirates also signed an agreement with the Malta Tourism Authority to encourage more global travelers to visit Malta. These partnerships aim to boost tourism and bring more visitors to these European destinations.

Expanding Cruise Travel Partnerships

The airline also focused on growing its cruise travel connections at ITB Berlin 2025. Emirates extended its partnerships with TUI Cruises, Costa Cruises, and AIDA Cruises to promote Dubai as a top cruise destination.

A key highlight was the extension of Emirates’ collaboration with TUI Cruises, which now has a second cruise ship based in Dubai for the 2025/2026 season. Emirates also extended its partnership with Costa Cruises until 2027, ensuring smoother travel between Dubai International Airport and Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal. These agreements will make it easier for cruise passengers to enjoy a seamless journey between air, land, and sea travel.

Enhancing the Booking Experience with OTAs

Emirates used ITB Berlin as a platform to strengthen its partnerships with major online travel agencies (OTAs). The airline deepened its relationship with Expedia Group, allowing travelers to personalize their trips by choosing extra baggage, seat selection, and other add-ons through the platform.

Emirates also renewed its long-standing partnership with Trip.com. This collaboration will expand Trip.com’s reach globally while helping Emirates attract more travelers from Asia and Europe. Both companies will work together on marketing efforts in these key regions.

A Strong Presence at ITB Berlin 2025

Emirates' participation at ITB Berlin 2025 highlighted its ongoing commitment to global travel growth. Through new routes, strong partnerships, and innovative services, the airline continues to connect people and places, shaping the future of the travel industry.
