The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South has seen impressive growth in private jet movements. In 2024, the hub recorded a historic 17,891 private jet movements, marking a 7% increase compared to 2023. This is the highest number of private jet movements Dubai has ever seen. In December alone, the hub recorded over 2,600 movements, a remarkable 51% increase from December 2023.

This growth can be attributed to several factors. Dubai's position as a year-round global destination for exhibitions, leisure events, business activities, and tourism plays a big role. In 2024, Dubai welcomed 18.72 million visitors from around the world, showing that the city remains an attractive place for travel and business.
Tariq Bin Ghalaita, the General Aviation Director at MBRAH, shared his excitement about this achievement. He said, “This milestone reaffirms Al Maktoum International Airport’s position as the busiest airport for business aviation in the Middle East.” He also added that 2024 was a successful year, as the hub signed agreements with leading aviation companies to set up operations there. The hub also opened several new state-of-the-art facilities.
MBRAH continues to support Dubai’s vision of becoming a global aviation leader. It offers excellent connectivity and serves as a free-zone destination for top airlines, private jet companies, and other aviation industries. Located in Dubai South, MBRAH is also home to maintenance centers, training facilities, and education campuses. With its continued growth and development, MBRAH is strengthening Dubai’s position as a key player in global aviation.
